I got a newly decorated and a nice size room. the cleanliness of the apartment was great. There were an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and an oven. the location was perfect: shopping malls and a market were within walking distance. amicable staff, wonderful views of the mountains and the river, everything is really good. its location is excellent & nice, near to all the shops and eateries, the supermarket and areas behind curtains. the deluxe apartment is recently refurbished and has a lounge area, a storage, and climate control.

The breakfast had a great variety of delicious food to choose from. the room was well-maintained and recently renovated, with all the necessary amenities provided.

All the staff are very helpful. We stayed for 6 nights and felt like staying at home.

it was our 3 nights stay, everyone there was very, very nice and accommodating, felt safe and secure. location: the hotel was close enough to surfers paradise centre and all shops and restaurants-walking distance, cafes, bars, supermarkets & beach and the shops, restaurants. it also was so close to the heart of surfers while being next to the river.

The apartment here is newly remodelled, spacious, and clean.

Margaret is a wonderful host. She is very personable and willing to share all good tips about the travel, place etc. The apartment is central in surfers paradise and convenient for us to travel around. The apartment is also very suitable for families as it has almost everything you need. Great stay!

The apartment from a location was great, with a view over the river and the hinterland. The building does not get shaded by the surrounding buildings except for first thing in the morning. The apartment was clean. The pool area was great. Each floor has wireless internet. The location is great for access to surfers. We did not hear any noise from the traffic on the North Western side of the building. We would recommend the Moorings as long as you know what type of apartment you getting prior to arriving. We suggest you call the managers to find out what the quality of the apartment and the fittings provided within the apartment. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

The decor within the apartment was at least 25 years old, based on the type of oven and the use of mirrors throughout. Compared to another apartment, the decor would be classed as budget. The lighting was very dim, and we found it difficult to read. We have two teenage daughters, there was no foxtel etc, no dvd player, the tv was a fairly small cheap plasma etc, therefore other than the wireless internet that only one person could use at a time, there was very little for entertainment for a family with younger or older children. The advert said most apartments have foxtel, therefore we can assume we were one of the unlucky ones and got a room that did not. It would seem from a Booked.net aspect that as the rooms are discounted, do not assume you are going to get one of their better apartments. Last year we booked an apartment through Booked.net and got a fantastic room in another building at a better price and the decor was modern, had all the electronic equipment etc and that was the reason why we booked again through Booked.net. In the future we will do further research to check out the quality of the rooms and the equipment included.

The location is not far from the fabulous GLink light rail. Very close to eateries, the river, beach, and the shops and cafes of central Surfers Paradise. I enjoyed staying at Moorings On Cavill.

We had wonderful time there. Location, staff, view and value for money.We just enjoyed every minute of it!!

The warm weather made our stay enjoyable, especially during winter, as we loved the close location to the heart of the town and transport convenience; everything here was simply amazing.

The hotel was in an absolutely perfect location, really close to the main shopping area, cafes/bars, and supermarkets. Stayed in a modern deluxe apartment with air conditioning.

The staff were fantastic, we were greeted warmly and had everything explained to us and services offered to us and they were very helpful with all of our enquiries. The apartment was fantastic and the view we had looking out over the river was excellent and so relaxing. We stayed in a 2 bdr apartment which had its own laundry and 2 bathrooms!! always a plus. The location of the hotel was perfect, we were within walking distance to anything we needed. Overall it was a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
